Learning outcomes

At the end of the lessons the student will acquire the basic knowledge to comprehend the nature and funcion of the museums exhibition, the main methods to expose natural history materials and to appreciate the effectiveness of the methods of the educational path

The course is made by seminars and visits to the Bolognese naturalistic museums

Teaching methods

The course plans a few frontal lectures and educational visits in the Museums of the BiGeA Department.

Assessment methods

Students at the end of the course are asked to develop, in collaboration with one of the Museum staff, a project in the form of a short essay (paper). This will be used for evaluation and final scoring.
