Permanent Seminar on Women's Studies
From 1989 to 2003 a permanent seminar on Women’s Studies took place at the University of Bologna, in collaboration with the Erasmus Project for students and with the contribution of teachers coming from various European universities (Utrecht, Odense, York, Dublin, Athens, Paris, London, Madrid, Antwerpen), as well as of the Network Athena (Rosi Braidotti, University of Utrecht). The seminar was organized by Vita Fortunati, Rita Monticelli, Raffaella Baccolini, M. Giulia Fabi, and hosted by the Faculty of Modern Foreign Languages and Literature. The aim of the interdisciplinary programme was to create a confrontation between students and teachers on the main contemporary issues regarding critical methodologies on gender and women’s studies.
