The Faculty of Psychology was set up in 1996, absorbing the degree course in Psychology previously activated at the Faculty of Education.
The faculty's administrative offices are in Cesena, while teaching branches are in Cesena and Bologna. Courses offered include a 1st cycle degree in Sciences of Behaviour and Social Relations, which guarantees a solid foundation in the psychological disciplines, and five distinct 2nd cycle degrees which allow for the acquisition of specific professional competencies. The number of students enrolled is currently 1812, with a permanent teaching staff of 54. Dean (2008-11): Professor Fiorella Giusberti.
