Visual Arts
Situated in the historic location of Piazzetta Giorgio Morandi 2, the department carries out historic-theoretic-methodological research activities in diverse sectors of the visual arts.
The research activities are divided into four academic disciplinary areas: medieval (L-Art/01), modern (L-Art/02), contemporary (L-Art/03) and methodological disciplines (L-Art/04).
The areas in turn carry out contextually diverse programmes of Research Doctorates.
The teaching activities take place for the most part in the 1st cycle degree course DAMS, and in the 2nd cycle degree course specialised in the History of Art (95/S).
Also active within the department, moreover, is the Specialisation School for the History of Art. from 2005, replace with "in the ex-convent of St. Cristina"
