Human and General Physiology
The Department of Human and General Physiology hosts research groups active in the field of Physiology and Neuroscience at the level of both the cell and whole organism.
Techniques used range from molecular biology and electrophysiology to classical physiology.
Faculty members are involved in four PhD programmes (Applied Physiology and Pathophysiology; Cellular Physiology and Neuroimmunophysiology; Physical Exercise and Sport Science; Neurophysiology) and cover the teaching of Physiology for both undergraduates (Faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy, Psychology, Motor Sciences, Degree in Biotechnology) and graduates (Medicine Specialization Schools).
