Physical and Inorganic Chemistry
DCFI has a permanent staff of 38 Professors and Researchers, 4 administrative and 5 technical members.
Teaching include most of the Analytical, Inorganic and Physical Chemistry, Physics and Computing courses of the Faculty of Industrial Chemistry and some Physical Chemistry courses of the Faculty of Sciences. DCFI has a strong research activity covering theoretical chemistry, UV, IR, Raman and microwave spectroscopy, coordination and organometallic chemistry, electroanalytical chemistry, environmental physical and analytical chemistry, modelling and simulation of liquid crystals, nanomaterials and diagnostic of cultural heritage.
On average, 40 undergraduates, PhD and post-doctoral fellows take part in these researches.
