Pharmaceutical Sciences
The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences is an interdisciplinary department covering a broad range of scientific interests.
Research emphasis is in the basic science areas of synthetic, analytical and computational medicinal chemistry, bioanalytical chemistry, pharmaceutics and drug delivery, and pharmaceutical microbiology and biotechonology.
Department members are involved in national and international research programs, as well as in teaching in many courses of the Faculty of Pharmacy.
Along with researchers, administrative and technical personnel are important components of the Department.
