The Department conducts research activities in the field of Clinical Medicine and Biotechnology applied to it, as well as scientific and clinical education for young scholars orientated towards research and professional medicine
The instructors collaborate with the main international research firms among which are OMS.
The main areas of research, within which are developed specific inquiries, are: nephrology, pneumology, metabolic diseases, industrial toxicology, hypertension, arteriosis, aterosclerosis, pathologcial anatomy, non-invasive live molecular diagnostics, organ transplant, and experimental surgery.
