Medicine and Public Health
The Department of Medicine and Public Health (Faculty of Medicine and Surgery) is formed by the Section of Hygiene and Legal Medicine.
Hygiene: research conducted falls in the field of history, epidemiolology and spread of infectious diseases, of food and water safety, protection of the external environment and environment of life, and of national and international health policies.
Legal Medicine: the numerous conventions and collaboration with the Legal Authority allows for the progress of all teaching and research activities in the sectors of social medicine and insurance, thanatology, genetic and forensic toxicology, deontology and medical ethics.
