History
The Department of History has many participating instructors (62) who come from five faculties: Letters and Philosophy, Education Sciences, Economics and Commerce, Political Sciences and Foreign Languages and Literature.
Consequently, there are many spheres of scientific research assembled here: from Medieval to the modern age, history of religion, historical geography, archival studies, teaching of history, history of historiography, history of culture and mentality, history of cities, economic and social history, history of institutions, political doctrines, history of European and extra-European countries.
