Economics
The Department of Economics was established in 1983 and it is currently the largest Department of Economics in Italy.
It enjoys a reputation of excellence that has been accumulated over the years; on the basis of official standards put forth by the European Economics Association, it is ranked as one of the two leading Economics Departments in Italy.
To circulate its research products, since 1983 DSE issues a Working Papers Series, which is now available both on line, and at many international Libraries.
Moreover, DSE organises two Seminar Series, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from October to May.
DSE offers also a Ph.D Program in Economics aimed at developing competence to be used either on the private market for economists or in the academic environment for teaching and research.
