Electrical Engineering - DIE
The main task of the Dipartimento di Ingegneria Elettrica (DIE) is research in the field of Power Electrical Engineering.
34 professors and researchers belong to this Department. They are members of four research and educational groups, which are Electrotechnics, Electrical Machines and Drivers, Electrical Systems for Energy and Electrical and Elecronic Measurements. The contribution of the DIE to international research in Power Electrical Engineering is very significant, as proved by many papers published in prestigiousinternational Journals and in the most important international Conferences. Furthermore, a "spin off" operates in the DIE: a private research organization strongly related to the Department with common researches addressed to industrial applications.
The DIE has financial autonomy. The technical and administrative staff includes 12 people.
