Chemistry «Giacomo Ciamician»
The Department provides the academic structures for the 1st cycle degree courses in Chemistry, Chemistry of Materials and 2nd cycle degree courses in Advanced Chemical Methodologies and in Photochemistry and Chemistry of Materials.
The Department also provides the logistical and experimental structures for the execution of advanced research in the field of Inorganic Chemistry (Photochemistry, Nanotechnology, Structural, Environmental and Biological), Organic Chemistry (Asymmetric and Stereoselective Synthesis, Organometallic and Bioorganic), Physical Chemistry (Theoretical, Spectroscopic, Electrochemical and Thermodynamic), Analytic Chemistry (Environmental, Biological, Cultural Heritage and Chemical Macromolecular).
The Department also carries out activities of chemical, structural, morphological and functional analysis for third parties in the environmental, biological and technological spheres.
