Agro-Environmental Science and Technology
The Department of Agro-Environmental Science and Technology is a research and education institution.
It provides leadership in discovering, accessing, and disseminating knowledge through high quality research, instruction and extension programs to enhance sustainability of agricultural and economic systems; promote stewardship of natural resources and ecological systems and covers a breadth of topics related to crop, soil, and water resources.
The staff consists of 40 professors, 25 research associates and 63 support staff.
The department offers excellent opportunities for student, faculty, and post-graduate research and study, and it works closely with faculty in other departments including biology, biochemistry, geology and environmental sciences.
