The Academic Senate is the representative body of the university community. It is involved in the general administration of the university and the appointment of the members of the Board of Governors.
It has a coordinating function, acting as a link between the different structures of the university; it collaborates with the Rector in the steering, guidance and coordination of scientific and teaching activities; it collaborates with the Board of Governors for strategic management and annual and three-year financial programming and staff planning.
It is composed of 35 members.
