The Board of Governors exercises comprehensive authority over the University's financial management and use of assets.
The Board consists of the Rector, the Deputy Rector, the Administration Director, representatives of the teaching, technical and administrative staff and representatives of the student body.
Non-academic members include representatives of the Government, the Emilia-Romagna Region, the City of Bologna, organisations responsible for administering the Romagna campuses under the aegis of the University, and Romagna local authorities.
