Rimini Campus

The university campus branch of Rimini was instituted in November 2001 in the process of decentralising the University of Bologna and was given partial financial administrative, teaching and scientific autonomy

Prior to now (since the Seventies), the University of Bologna has been present in Rimini through various instalments, which have assumed diverse roles over time, going from a school directed at special needs and moving to university short degrees and 1st degree courses. The academic offerings are in fact plentiful and articulated, developed on instruction relative to eight diverse faculties and target particular sectors of information, such as those connected to tourism, fashion, environment, sport, and the well-being of the body. Obviously, more traditional courses are not lacking such as those pertaining to economic sciences and Business Economics, Statistics, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Nursing and Education. The teaching and scientific activities take place inside a "cittadella", situated in the city centre: one that allows for a synergetic exchange with the environment, favoured by excellent relations existing with the local authorities and the economic and social dynamic of Rimini.
