The Director General is responsible for all central offices and services of this University and has the function of managing, directing and controlling the Technical-Administrative Personnel. The other directors collaborate with the Director General with tasks of functional integration for the structures operating in related areas.
Dr. Giuseppe Colpani, Director General

Born in Mantua (Italy) in 1961, he graduated in Agricultural Sciences at the Università Cattolica in 1985. His curriculum can boast several significant professional and academic experiences. The first - from 1987 to 1994 - at the Studies Office of Gruppo Ferruzzi Montedison, where he was in charge of strategic managerial tasks, including the analysis of economic and macroeconomic phenomena.
Dr. Colpani also occupied top-management functions at a number of Italian universities. He was Administrative Director for the university seat of Piacenza at the Università Cattolica (1994-2000) and for the University of Camerino (2000-2001). He was General Director of the Consortium for scientific and technological research for the Area of Trieste (2005-2009).
Among other important roles are that of member of the Evaluation Committee for the financial and budgeting programming at the Università Ca’ Foscari, Coordinator of the starting-up of the Centre of Excellence for the Public Administration of the Università Cattolica of Piacenza, and, finally, that of member of the University Committee for the re-organization of the IT systems at the Università Cattolica of Milan.
