Dipartimento Amministrativo Relazioni Internazionali

The Department has a cross character and aims to organize and oversee the innumerable internationalisation initiatives in progress.

In particular, the Department is responsible for:

• managing students', professors' and technical and administrative staff's mobility in the framework of European programmes, conventions with foreign Universities, international University networks and internship periods abroad in the framework of international programmes;
• supporting scientific and teaching structures and services in administering and organising all institutional activities carried out in collaboration with international organisations;
• promoting action to widen the international contacts and collaborations of Bologna university;
• promoting action to increase the development of joint qualifications and courses in terms of first level and second cycle degree courses, Masters and research doctorates;
• facilitating access to European education and training programmes to promote and organise international cooperation initiatives;
• promoting the teaching internationalisation process through new courses and training initiatives in English, as well as the diffusion of ECTS label;
• following up the developments of Bologna Process with special reference to the plan of Bologna University to join the general context of European and non-European Higher Education.
