Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna founded its campuses in Romagna in 2000. Since the very beginning the multi-campus is an exciting programme, that has offered a great chance of optimising and qualifying the University system.
Rimini community has funded a large amount of investment in order to have a University Campus,
which means an educational system devoted to academic research and development, together with improvement of a livable environment. During the past ten years Professors, Researchers and also Administrative staff, have been working in order to offer a set of 19 Degree Courses, from 8 Faculties. This extraordinary commitment at all levels have leaded the Campus of Rimini to the best results in Romagna, as for number of students, for satisfaction and for construction development.
We are now living a delicate step of the internal organization of the whole University life, in reference to the University educational reform D.M. 270/04. Eight Faculties are now improving and enhancing this initiative, in order to diversify and innovate the educational system. The perspective of our Campus is to have a multidisciplinary offer with new expertise in the work market.
The area around our Campus has important entrepreneurial initiatives, thus we aim at creating, from the research perspective, a net of activities to address the development of our Society. Moreover, we have to highlight that the increasing number of applications from other areas, that confirms the good quality level of our Institution, recognized all over the country.
The University is a cultural and scientific legacy of the Society, thus we wish to be appreciated and to be respected by the Town of Rimini, and to work in perfect synergy.
This guide is a tool for Student, and for anyone, who has the chance to get to know "the University-City system", so that the reader can find all the answers to his/her actual needs.
I would like to address my special welcome to the Students, with the hope that this university experience in Rimini will be remembered as a happy period of everyone’s life, well-balanced between educational training, work experience and fun time.
