About the Web Guide
The web version of the User Guide is addressed to all students in Forlì and, using a day-to-day language, includes useful information about the University's and the City's facilities and structures, interviews to former students and local artists, tips, contacts, and other details.
In writing this guide we have tried to stick to the guidelines provided by the University of Bologna for the user guide to Bologna. Hence we have tried to present a text that can be appreciated aesthetically, with inspiring pictures and interesting contents to be read while taking time off from studying.
The main aim of this Web Guide is to provide students with useful and day-to-day information for students and young people living and studying in Forlì. The English used is very simple in order to meet the language skills of all foreign students arriving in Forlì. The text provides useful informaton about all the University's and the City's facilities and structures, and can be considered as honest as straightfoward as possible.
You will not find any boring speeches about museums and churches, but rather some useful hints to solve many of the problems that all students have to face during their studies or work activities - i.e., accommodation, eating out and shopping, finding books for exams, facilities and areas for studying and research, etc. But we have not also forgotten to include some tips about how to spend your free time - i.e., where to find trendy and original clothes, where to have a pint of beer and something to eat at a very cheap cost, where to buy discounted tickets for concerts and other cultural events, and so on.
The web guide also aims to illustrate in short the University's facilities and structures: study and multimedia rooms, libraries, university acccommodation, restaurants and self-service restaurants offering special prices for students, the Faculties and their structures.
With this guide we hope to give you a neat idea of the City and its Campus. We apologise in advance for any inaccuracy or oversight (please let us know that ones!).
Meanwhile, enjoy navigation!
