Set up as a result of the Rector's Decree no.1919/416 dated 30 September 1996, the Faculty of Psychology began its activities in the academic year 1996-97. The Faculty’s main administrative offices are located in Cesena, while the courses themselves are held both in Cesena and Bologna. In the past, the Psychology degree course was part of the Faculty of Humanities and the first lectures were delivered in the academic year 1990-91.
At present, the Faculty of Psychology offers the following curricula:
First-cycle degree courses
These courses are part of class L-24 of the new degree format introduced by the Italian act of parliament 270/2004:
- Sciences of Behaviour and Social Relations - Cesena
Second cycle degree courses
These courses are part of class LM-51 of the new degree format:
- Neurosciences and neuro-psychological rehabilitation - Cesena;
- Clinical Psychology - Cesena;
- Work, organization, personnel psychology & services - Cesena;
- School and community psychology - Cesena;
- Applied Cognitive Psychology - Bologna.
