Here is the list of to the services offered by the Faculty of Political Science and the other university institutions in Forlì.
Polo Scientifico-Didattico of Forlì
It is the main institution for the coordination of the university services available in the territory.
It provides for information on the exchange programmes and the Summer Schools at foreign universities.
The partner universities supply the Faculty office with information material, which is then properly arranged and made available to students. The Office is also the crucial point for most of the decentralised administrative procedures, and coordinates the Erasmus exchange programmes and all other external relations.
The External and International Relations Office promotes the student mobility programmes started up by the University by setting-up of information meetings, the publication of materials about foreign universities and the preparing of brochures on the partner universities. It supplies information on the post-graduate provision at foreign institutions, on the international schools and research projects, on the traineeship opportunities at international governmental and non-governmental organisations. It collects and distributes information on the internships offered by United Nations agencies, or by the international non-governmental organisations and other institutions. The Office helps students and recent graduates in filling in the European format CV (in English, French and Spanish) and supports them in writing the introduction and cover letters for the purposes of the internship/traineeship.
Among other activities, the Office supports the organisation of the local "Human Rights Nights" Film Festival, the organisation of conferences on international careers and promotes the "Interdisciplinary Course in Development Education", sponsored by the UNICEF committee in Forlì.
It provides information on the University Overseas student exchange programme with non-European universities, on the European Leonardo da Vinci programme (traineeship at EU organisations/companies ), as well as on the traineeship opportunities promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and CRUI (Conference of the Italian Universities Rectors), either in Italy or abroad in cooperation with Assocamere, at the Italian Chambers of Commerce across the world.
The International Relations Office also manages all the procedures related to the "Erasmus" Programme for the students at the Faculty of Political Science "Roberto Ruffilli" and provides academic guidance for the incoming students.
The Office coordinates the management of the Faculty scholarships aimed at the carrying out research projects abroad with a view to writing up the degree dissertation. For the Faculty of Political Science, the Office is in charge of the entire programme, while for all the other Faculties based in Forlì it only collects the data related to this activity for statistical-administrative purposes.
It is part of the Italian interlibrary network and so it allows access to the lending service at a national and at an international level, as well as offering the chance to consult the electronic databases, journals and periodicals, and to carry out bibliographic searches.
