The Faculty’s administration is currently involved in enforcing the university reform law and it seeks to guarantee effective ("good educational standards") and efficient (less time required to reach graduation) academic careers.
For a student, registering with this Faculty means discovering the complex nature of the economic, political and social system that characterises modern society. Through the different academic paths offered by the Faculty, first and second-cycle degree courses, and the meticulous and authoritative guidance of teachers, students will eventually become able to:
- understand the dynamics of European and international politics
- in the historical, sociological, political and economic spheres;
- get an insight, from a multi-disciplinary perspective, into the issues connected with the running and the organisation of the public administration and policy management;
- acquire the tools needed to understand some of new problems that emerge in the most varied social contexts (health, security, quality of life, and not only the material aspects of life).
Within an urban context which hosts all the university institutions offering language, computer and library services along with other Faculties of the University of Bologna, students in Forlì can take advantage of pioneering study paths, the town’s social and cultural events, scientific training and international exchanges. So students in Forlì have the chance to enhance their intellectual horizons as well as respond to the cultural needs generated by the sweeping changes we are experiencing today.
