The Faculty of Medicine of the University of Bologna is ready to compete with other European Universities in the vocational training of young doctors, both in cultural and in organisational terms.
The Faculty coordinates various courses within the framework of the degree courses; it deals with the planning of the teaching activities; it appoints and recruits teachers and researchers; it takes decisions concerning temporary teaching posts and teaching contracts; it distributes the teaching tasks; it controls the day-to-day running of the Faculty; it assesses the suitability of the activities in regard to the academic targets.
