The Dean's Office provides a liaison between all of the Faculty's activities both in terms of teaching policy and in respect to the relations with the other academic bodies of the University of Bologna.
The Dean
The Dean represents the Faculty, summons and presides over the Faculty's Board of Teachers and sees to it that the decisions are implemented.
The Dean is responsible for the proper implementation of all the teaching and organisational activities referring to the Faculty, and exerts the relevant powers of control and supervision. He/she presents the annual report drawn up by the Faculty's Board of Teachers concerning the teaching activities, he/she participates in the Academic Senate sessions and exerts all the powers given to him/her by the University’s statute book, its regulations and by Italian law.
Dean's Secretariat
The Dean's Secretariat is in charge of promoting, organising and coordinating the teaching activity of the undergraduate and postgraduate courses and guarantees the proper running of the Faculty by controlling the relevant accounting and administrative procedures.
The Office for the Relations with Businesses, the E-learning Secretariat, the Public Relations Office, and the International Relations Office, all report to the Dean's Secretariat, including the Computing Laboratory and the Reception Office.
