Popular science

To spread information and generate curiosity around the research world. To tell about the discoveries in different sectors and communicate with the community, not only the scientific one but also with children in schools and with all those who show an interest. These are the objectives of the popularisation sites that the University has created or to which it contributes by providing expert assistance.
Academy of Sciences
The Institute of Bologna Academy of Sciences is one of the most famous scientific societies in Europe. Every year about 1500 academics take part in seminars organised by the Academy. The seminars are organised in close cooperation with the University of Bologna to satisfy the need for scientific updates.
Getting to know Chemistry
In 1998 the "Getting to know Chemistry" Committee was established through the desire of a small group of people to convey their passion for Chemistry.
Marino Golinelli Foundation
The Marino Golinelli Foundation was established in 1988 and operates in all the possible areas of Biomedical and Biotechnological Sciences, as regards the countless scientific, social, moral and legal applications and implications.
