The number of international students regularly enrolled at Unibo is around 5,000, while another 2,000 arrive every year on international exchange programmes such as LLP/Erasmus, Overseas and Erasmus Mundus External Cooperation Window .

The academic offer of the University of Bologna is composed of around 114 Bachelor level programmes, more than 109 Master level programmes (some of which are completely taught in English or other foreign languages), 76 professional master programmes and more than 112 Doctoral Programmes, coordinated by 14 Doctoral Schools. Many are the programmes that award double, multiple or joint degrees.
