Methods of transfer
To transfer to another Italian university, follow the instructions given below.
a.Find out from the university you are interested in about the methods of enrolment to the study programme you have chosen. In particular, find out about:
- terms for the presentation of the transfer application
- access requirements, any entrance exams or selection methods
- deadline for receipt of your academic career history by the other university.
b.Send an e-mail to the Student Registry Office of your faculty to request the uploading of a code to Almawelcome; you need the code to pay the departure transfer fee (270 Euros).
c. Pay the transfer fee, as soon as you receive the code:
- at any branch of UniCredit Banca presenting a copy of your code.
- you may also pay online by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners), even if these are not issued to your name, selecting the method: "payment ON LINE" on AlmaWelcome!.
d. Fill in the transfer application form (in Italian), sign it and affix a 14.62 Euro duty stamp.
e.Deliver by hand or send by post to the Student Registry Office at your faculty:
- the transfer application form;
- (only if you enrolled prior to AY 2011-2012) your university record book;
- receipt of payment of the departure transfer fee;
- (only if you send by post) copy of a valid identity document;

To transfer to another Italian university, you may present your application from 26 July 2011 to 30 November 2011.
Transfer applications received beyond the indicated deadline may be accepted where justified on serious grounds, with payment of a fine (30.00 Euros for delays of up to 7 days; 60.00 Euros from 8 days and beyond).
In the latter case, you must also have regularly paid the tuition fees for AY 2011-2012.
