Since the International Society for the Development of Research on Magnesium (SDRM) was established in 1970, there have been international magnesium meetings in almost every part of the world. European meetings were organized in parallel and after the Euromag of Paris, 2008, Italy is now organizing the next one.
This meeting will cover some of the most recent and exiting developments on the role of magnesium in nutrition and medicine. This will include a focus on progress in laboratory based research as well as in the clinical situation. There will be plenary talks, oral communications and poster session. All the presentations will be in English. Speakers for oral communications will be selected based on the merit of the submitted abstracts.
The meeting site "San Giovanni in Monte", in the heart of the old city, will provide a unique ambiance with incomparable historic and cultural charm of the "High Middle Age and Renaissance" surroundings.
Detailed scientific programme of the EuroMag Bologna 2011 meeting will be published after reception of all contributions.
