This doctoral summer school on the themes of urban planning is organized by the IFPU - International Forum of Public Universities, in which takes part also the University of Bologna. The school will take place at the Universitat de Barcelona, Spain, from July 11th to 15th.
About the summer school
This summer school is directed to PhD students coming from the IFUP partner Universities, who carry out researches related to urban topics. Participants will have the opportunity to study in an international environement, meeting other PhD students from several different countries. The course will be divided in three kinds of activities: lectures by academics and professionals, prewsentations given by participants with regards to their personal researches and visit to agencies and private companies operating in the field of urban planning and policies. All tuition will be held in English, and therefore candidates must be fluent in English language.

Every IFPU can register two candidates, who will have to pay for travel costs, while the costs of accommodation will be paid by the IFPU network.
