Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student acquires a basic knowledge of probability theory and statistics applied to bioinformatics problems. 

Course contents

Prerequisites: Basic calculus.
Basic concept of probability, joint probability, conditional probability, Bayes theorem, applications to bioinformatics.
