Presentation
The second cycle degree Course in Statistical and Economic Sciences aims to train young professionals to apply computing and statistical knowledge to the decision-making models peculiar to business management. In particular, this Degree Course will prepare students for professions requiring specific skills in the fields of marketing and market research, sector and competition analysis, planning, and economic and financial analysis at both local, national and international level.


Admission requirements and/or tests
In accordance with the provisions of the General Academic Regulations and with the Degree Course Regulations, access to the second cycle degree in Statistical and Economic Sciences is granted to students holding a first cycle degree ascribed to one of the following classes:
37 Statistical Sciences
9 Information Engineering
15 Sciences of Politics and International Relations
17 Sciences of Economics and Business Management
26 Information Sciences and Technologies
28 Economic Sciences
35 Social Sciences for Cooperation, Development and Peace
All of the 180 credits earned by first level graduates with a degree from the Faculty of Statistical Sciences of Bologna University are automatically recognised. Students holding a different three-year or four-year degree are given access to this Degree Course on condition that they have earned at least 100 credits in the scientific-disciplinary sectors required for this second cycle degree Course. Applications will be evaluated by a Board specifically appointed by the Dean of Faculty. Students holding a four-year degree from the Faculty of Statistical Sciences of Bologna University will be awarded 220 credits.
All foreign citizens holding an academic qualification attained after 15 years’ education or more may be admitted to this second cycle degree Course.
